Our maintenance and repair services are for situations where your Vaisala Polaris™ or the previous generation Vaisala K‑PATENTS® process refractometer requires calibration, preventive maintenance, or more comprehensive repair in order to verify or return the original performance. 

Our repair services help extend the lifecycle of your equipment and are conducted either on-site or at one of Vaisala’s Service Centers, depending on the case. Vaisala repair services are always performed by qualified professionals.

Commissioning the process refractometer installation is key for an efficient and safe startup of the inline measurement process. When using Vaisala or authorized local distributors’ experts for commissioning and startup you can be sure that the measurement meets process requirements preventing unnecessary interruptions.

We offer online and hands-on training services for both partners and end-users. A license in our Vaisala MyLearning portal offers you comprehensive online, self-study learning material on Vaisala Polaris™ and Vaisala K‑PATENTS® process refractometers and their operation. ​

Partner hands-on training consists of training modules giving participants a thorough understanding of the correct operation of refractometers and related items.​

End-user hands-on training concentrates on the safe, efficient, and correct daily usage of process refractometers. The training is held at the customer site and is recommended to be held together with the commissioning and startup service. ​

Training on safe use of Vaisala K‑PATENTS® SAFE-DRIVE Process Refractometer PR-23-SD

• The SAFE-DRIVE process refractometers are used inline in the kraft pulp mills for measuring dry solids, liquid density, concentration, and Total Titrable Alkali (TTA). They are retractable devices while the operation is ongoing following the BLRBAC recommended good practice safe firing of black liquor in black liquor recover boilers. 
• Vaisala's instructor-led user training on the SAFE-DRIVE system offers operators, new or more experienced a chance to learn and exercise in a safe, controlled environment and the experienced ones to brush up on equipment knowledge and safe operating practices.
• The training consists of a classroom lecture, a demonstration, and a hands-on session with the SAFE- DRIVE generation 2.1 demo equipment under the guidance of our trained expert. After the training, users can access the training material in Vaisala MyLearning online learning portal.​
• The training is suitable for all users.
