Vaisala Weather Symbols and Codes

Vaisala uses weather codes and symbols as a part of weather data feeds and APIs to provide an easy way to visualize weather conditions in a single image. See the mapping between weather codes and symbols below. The letter (d and n) distinguishes day and night symbols, while each number indicates cloudiness, precipitation rate and precipitation type. For example: d220 indicates daytime, half cloudy, showers, rain.
