• Highlights of the OWA GloBE project on assessment of the blockage effect in offshore wind farms using a combination of measurement instruments, including three sets of dual scanning lidars and scanning lidar hard target calibration with a drone in an offshore environment
• The results of a collaborative project performed at the Hywind Scottland floating wind farm where inertial measurements and nacelle lidar data were leveraged for accurate wind speed measurements. Will talk about how this paves the way for loads, fatigue, and power performance measurements for floating turbines.
