Examples of Indigo transmitters

Indigo transmitters are host devices for Vaisala Indigo-compatible, stand-alone smart probes. The local display in the transmitter is useful, when something isn’t clear or there’s a problem, or when performing maintenance work in the field. Also, data from probes is shown on the transmitter display, allowing users to view what is going on. All the Indigo probes can be connected to any of the Indigo transmitters and changed on without interrupting the process, which reduces downtime. Choose from the following transmitters to suit your needs

Do I need an Indigo transmitter or just an Indigo probe?

There are many probe options to choose from measuring several parameters: humidity, temperature, dew point, CO2, moisture in oil, and vaporized hydrogen peroxide. The probes can be attached to Indigo500 or Indigo200 series transmitter. When is a probe sufficient on its own – and when do you need both a probe and a transmitter?

Optimized drying process helps Isolava cut energy consumption and improve end-product quality

Isolava began a project to optimize the drying process, led by Project Engineer Peter Vaneyghen. The first step was to install humidity sensors in the dryer in order to get a better understanding of the dynamics of the drying process. The consumption of natural gas alone has decreased by some 20% and the annual savings across all ten dryers add up to hundreds of thousands of euros.

Vaisala probes facilitate rollout of environmentally friendly refrigeration

Supermarkets all over Australia and New Zealand are benefiting from advanced carbon dioxide monitors as new natural refrigeration systems are installed in the fight against climate change. Woolworths, and its cold chain partner Emerson, therefore needed an accurate, reliable CO₂ monitor that could fulfill this vital role as the Group expands the use of natural refrigerants in its stores.
