Vaisala AviMet AWOS Operational & Maintenance Trainings

The Vaisala AviMet Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) is an integrated airport weather observing system for regional, national, and international airports. It calculates aviation meteorological data, such as pressure values (QFE, QNH) and Runway Visual Range, and generates aviation coded reports. The AviMet AWOS conforms to all relevant ICAO and WMO recommendations and regulations and can be configured to suit aviation-site requirements, covering ICAO categories up to CAT III.

Vaisala offers 2 AviMet AWOS Trainings for any existing customers who are interested in learning more about AviMet or any potential customers who want to see the benefits Vaisala AviMet system can provide.

Through theory, demonstrations and guided practice, the courses are an excellent opportunity to learn the essential skills needed for periodic maintenance, diagnose common faults, and ensure reliable, compliant operation in line with ICAO and WMO recommendations.
