Visibility Sensor FS11

Designed according to ICAO, FAA and WMO guidelines, the FS11 is an ideal instrument for runway visual range (RVR) assessment and airport visibility measurement, as well as other demanding applications. FS11P is intended for the most demanding weather applications such as runway visual range (RVR), aeronautical and synoptical visibility, and present weather observation. Meets FAA and ICAO specifications
The Meteorological Optical Range (MOR) measurement range is from 5m to 75 000 meters, which covers the full required RVR range (CAT I ... CAT IIIb), as well as the range required for Aeronautical Visibility (the ICAO defined visibility).
Minimal look-down geometry
The second is "head-down" design of the optical heads, which protects them against virtually all windblown particles (even those flying horizontally).
