Vaisala, a global leader in environmental and industrial measurement, announced today the publication of the company's seventh annual corporate responsibility report. The report documents advancements in Vaisala's long term plan to reach our vision of becoming a world leading sustainable actor in key market segments. 
 
This year's corporate responsibility report includes case studies on Vaisala's latest technological advancements and business endeavors. Among others, the report discusses:
  • Our involvement in extending the knowledge on the role of weather in renewable energy for investors, energy utilities and governmental organizations
  • Examples on Vaisala helping its customers achieve efficiencies and add value to customers' operations, such as
    • A new way to extend the life cycle of old weather radars with new antenna technology
    • How customers have taken the 4th generation sounding system into operational use, and
    • Vaisala's role as a Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador. 
 
Other highlights include Vaisala's inclusion in CDP's (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) prestigious A list of the Global Climate Performance Leadership Index (Global CPLI) and on the Nordic Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI). The performance score assesses the level of action on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and transparency.
