Vaisala awarded the EcoVadis Gold medal 2025

Vaisala has been awarded the EcoVadis gold medal 2025 for its sustainability work, placing Vaisala in the top 5% of all companies assessed.

EcoVadis is a leading global corporate social responsibility rating provider. The assessment rates corporate sustainability across four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Vaisala ranks in the top 97th percentile of companies evaluated. Vaisala improved its performance compared to last year (96th percentile), the factors that influenced our higher score were eg. ISO 27001(information security management system) certification and our improved reporting on labor and human rights issues. 

“This rating is a result of our continuous improvements in our sustainability work and an example of great collaboration between different functions”, says Marjo Hietapuro, Vaisala’s Sustainability Manager. 

EcoVadis evaluates companies annually using standardized criteria.
