Sustainable cleanroom performance: Integrating HVAC design, on-demand environmental control and monitoring

Cleanroom with scientists working.
Buildings and Indoor Air Quality
Two sessions to choose from

Cleanrooms can consume up to 15 times more energy than conventional buildings, with HVAC accounting for approximately 35–70% of that consumption. Join this webinar to discover how cleanroom facilities can reduce energy use without compromising cleanliness, process conditions, or regulatory compliance.

Hear specialists from Granlund, Halton, and Vaisala, members of the Alliance for Sustainable Cleanrooms, discuss how cleanroom design, demand-controlled ventilation, and accurate measurement can work together throughout the facility lifecycle.

What you will learn

  • Best practices for designing cleanroom HVAC around actual loads and operating states
  • How source-based, demand-controlled ventilation can reduce energy use while maintaining required conditions
  • What real-world observations and simulations reveal about potential energy savings
  • Why early planning and precise HVAC measurement matter for long-term performance

This webinar is ideal for:

  • Cleanroom and HVAC designers and engineers
  • Facility and operations managers
  • Quality assurance, compliance, and validation professionals
  • Pharma, electronics, and healthcare manufacturers
  • Anyone involved in GMP-regulated or critical environments

Join the webinar to explore how HVAC design, demand-controlled ventilation, and reliable measurement can support both energy efficiency and cleanroom performance.
