Naval, coast guard, and maritime-security organizations operating in Arctic and high-latitude regions face a unique combination of operational challenges: extreme weather, icing, limited communications and infrastructure, long distances, and increasing geopolitical attention.

As activity in the Arctic increases, maritime organizations need a clearer operational picture to coordinate people, platforms, and decisions in challenging conditions.

Join Vaisala and expert guest speakers for a webinar on how environmental intelligence can support safer, more resilient Arctic and near-Arctic operations. The discussion will explore how trusted weather and environmental data can strengthen readiness, reduce operational risk, and support decision-making across USVs, icebreakers, ports, and international Arctic cooperation.

What you’ll learn

  • How navies and maritime organizations are approaching new technologies, including USVs and decision-support systems
  • What icebreakers, ice-class vessels, ports, and northern infrastructure mean for future Arctic readiness
  • How environmental intelligence supports Arctic and high-latitude maritime operations
  • Why trusted weather and environmental data are critical for situational awareness, safety, and mission assurance
  • How maritime organizations can build a more integrated operational picture across ships, aviation, ports, and shore-based teams

Who should attend

  • This webinar is designed for professionals responsible for planning, supporting, or executing maritime and naval operations in Arctic and high-latitude environments, including:
  • Naval, coast guard, and joint-force leaders responsible for Arctic and high-latitude operations
  • Offshore and naval aviation officers, flight-deck crews, and helideck operators working in icing-prone regions
  • Port, base, and coastal installation managers in northern waters
  • METOC, weather, and environmental intelligence teams supporting polar and near-polar missions
  • Technology, innovation, and procurement leads evaluating sensing, autonomy, and decision-support capabilities for harsh operating environments

Reserve your seat to learn how environmental intelligence can support safer, more resilient Arctic maritime operations. If you can’t join live, register anyway and we’ll send you the recording.
