Overview of the Product Development Project with Vaisala for 2024-2025

We are a student team from Aalto University’s Product Development Project (PdP) course, collaborating with Vaisala to develop a streamlined solution for the configuration and commissioning of HVAC devices. Our direction now is to create a software-centered product-service system that enables users to calibrate and maintain devices more easily, reducing maintenance costs and complexity.  

Team Members 

Our team includes 11 multidisciplinary students from Aalto University and Porto, with expertise across design, engineering and marketing, allowing us to approach the project from various angles. The Aalto group will focus more on the product & service development, while the Porto group will focus more on the communication & marketing strategy of the service as well as business models.
