The Terrain Complexity Estimation (TCE) analysis provides an estimated bias on lidar wind measurements caused by complex terrain in the project area, helping you plan more accurate and reliable deployments.
Availability Booster
Increase your observation data availability with cloud-based processing and neural network technology.
The Availability Booster enhances the WindCube’s ability to measure in unfavorable atmospheric conditions by leveraging high-frequency (1-second) data and advanced cloud-based post-processing. It is an innovative algorithm within Vaisala Compass designed to improve both data quality and availability.
Using proven neural-network filtering, it removes outliers to deliver cleaner, more reliable profiles without generating any new data. A new 3LOS algorithm automatically selects the best three (or more) available Lines of Sight for wind reconstruction, preventing unnecessary data loss. The Availability Booster is fully compatible with datasets from both WindCube 2.1 and WindCube 2.1 XP.
