AWOS Sensor Installation and Maintenance Training

The Vaisala AviMet® Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) Sensor Installation and Maintenance Training Course is for anyone responsible for the sensors and instruments in the Vaisala AWOS system. It focuses on the tasks and skills that you need to install and maintain the sensors. Both the course material and live online session(s) are in English. The training also provides a forum for exchanging tips on best practices between the product experts and your fellow trainees.

One month prior to each live online session(s), you will have access to a set of videos and the Vaisala eLearning platform with pre-course training materials so you can familiarize yourself with the basic theory and principles. This blended training method will help you get the most from this training experience and be prepared to optimize and maintain your AWOS equipment.

Additionally, you will be required to complete a test in the eLearning platform to participate and get your questions answered during the live online session(s).
