Spare parts and Upgrades
Vaisala offers a variety of spare parts and upgrades for your
FAA Approved AWOS.
Spare parts can be ordered at any time to minimize the
downtime of your system in the event of a failure. You can contact your
Vaisala Technical Support Representative to discuss recommended spares packages
for your AWOS configuration.
New Vaisala sensor technology is always being
developed. Your Vaisala AWOS is fully upgradable. You may add an FAA
approved sensor to your AWOS at any time. Our most popular upgrades at the
FD12P Precipitation Identification Sensor and the SA20 Thunderstorm Sensor.
