Vaisala provides accurate and low maintenance C-band weather radar. Vaisala C-band Weather Radar complements the full offering of remote and on-site sensing products. Vaisala offers two C-band weather radar models, the Vaisala Weather Radar WRM100 and the Vaisala Weather Radar WRM200.
The unique antenna structure enables good cross polarization performance and detection of different types of precipitation such as light snow and drizzle. Vaisala has designed radar systems with the most advanced weather radar technology, Vaisala Sigmet data processors and software, which are the world leaders in weather radar signal and data processing systems, as well as application software. These products are used in operational radar systems and networks, wind shear detection, dual polarization, hydrology and research.

WRM200 is a dual polarization Doppler weather radar with real time operational hydrometeor classification software.

The RVP8 provides comprehensive digital receiver, digital transmitter, and signal processing functions on an open systems PC/Linux platform. It is the first commercial weather radar processor to offer open APIs that allow programmers to plugin their own algorithms that are written using standard GNU tools.
Vaisala Sigmet Radar and Antenna Control Processor RCP8™
The RCP8 is Sigmet's third generation radar/antenna control processor. It is an evolution of the proven and trusted RCP02, but re-hosted on a PC/Linux platform.
