The RVP8 provides comprehensive digital receiver, digital transmitter, and signal processing functions on an open systems PC/Linux platform. It is the first commercial weather radar processor to offer open APIs that allow programmers to plugin their own algorithms that are written using standard GNU tools.
The RCP8 is Sigmet's third generation radar/antenna control processor. It is an evolution of the proven and trusted RCP02, but re-hosted on a PC/Linux platform.
