Vaisala Ground Check Set GC25

The Vaisala Ground Check Set GC25 is used with the Vaisala Radiosonde RS92 family and the Vaisala DigiCORA I, II, MARWIN, PP15, DigiCORA® MW21, DigiCORA® MW31 and PP21 sounding systems.

It introduces a new standard of user-friendliness in the radiosonde ground checking procedure. Just insert an RS92 into the radiosonde tray. Check that the radiosonde is functioning correctly: checking sensor accuracy and setting the transmitter frequency are easier than ever before. The ground check procedure includes a reconditioning phase which removes possible contaminants from the humidity sensor, ensuring accurate humidity measurement during the sounding.

Under Level 1 of the Vaisala Service Contract, a calibration service is available to ensure that your GC25 is always correctly calibrated. With Level 1, you receive a new Pt-100 sensor unit for replacement in your GC25 before the recommended calibration period expires.
