Road / pavement surface temperatures may vary by up to 10°C / 18°F, creating problems for winter service engineers dealing with snow and ice hazards. Thermal Mapping is a vehicle-based survey technique, scientifically proven to identify and quantify the distribution of temperature differences across a highway network.

TimeStep Thermal Map

The TimeStep Thermal Map offers an hour-by-hour representation, from 22:00 to 08:00, of the Forecast Thermal Map, and identifies expected changing temperature patterns of a road / highway.
