Versatile management of medium-size and large meteorological and
hydrological networks
Vaisala MetMan Network Software MM100 and MM400 are designed
for collection and storage of meteorological and hydrological data from
medium-sized to large networks. They can be customized to meet even the most
demanding needs.
The MM100 stores data into ascii
file archive where as MM400 is based on using Oracle database. Both MM100 and
MM400 offer several independent applications for building and maintaining
meteorological and hydrological networks. The user can also optimize the
communication costs and speed by choosing between 8 or
maximum of 24 simultaneous communication channels.
The data generated by MM100 and MM400 can be viewed in data
history application and the optional Vaisala MetMan Web View software which
displays the data in graphical and table format.
In addition to Vaisala automatic weather and hydrological
stations MM400 can be adapted to communicate with various other types of legacy
stations in the network, and can also be adopted for an existing network to
supply existing databases.
