Calibration is an integral part of instrument maintenance.  Vaisala Service performs multi-point and accredited calibrations and adjustments to ensure measurement accuracy.  One-point, on-site field calibrations are useful in identifying the need for additional calibration and adjustment.  Multi-point calibrations offer the advantage of high accuracy over the entire measurement range.

Certificate verifies performance - both before and after
To verify results a certificate is issued for each calibrated instrument. The certificate shows the readings both before and after adjustment. This system enables the user to easily monitor the performance of the calibrated instrument.

All Vaisala calibrations comply with ANSI-Z540-1-1994. ISO/IEC 17021:1999 calibrations are also available.

Humidity Calibration
NIST traceable calibrations. Standard calibrations consist of four points with adjustments at 0% and 75.5% and linearity checked at 11.3% and 33%RH, (97.6%RH optional).
Two-pressure generator enables special NIST traceable calibrations:

• Any points between 10% to 95%RH
• Temperature range +32...158°F (0 to 70°C)

Temperature Calibration

• Temperature calibrations from -80 to +180°C (-112 to +356°F)
• NIST traceable temperature calibration within the specified range.

Dewpoint Calibration

• Dewpoint calibrations from -94 to +68°F (-70 to +20°C)
• NIST traceable dewpoint calibration within the specified range.

CO2 Calibration
Certified three point CO2 calibration at zero, mid and span at the following:

• 0% : 2,000 ppm (0.2%)
• 0% : 3,000 ppm (0.3%)
• 0% : 5,000 ppm (0.5%)
• 0% : 10,000 ppm (1.0%)
• 0% : 20,000 ppm (2.0%)
• 5% : 10%
• 5% : 20%
