IFRS Reporting
Vaisala Oyj has adopted the International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in its Group reporting from the beginning
of 2005. This bulletin presents a preliminary opening balance sheet at 1 January
2004 according to IFRS and a preliminary shareholders' equity reconciliation
calculation as well as preliminary comparison data for the balance sheets at 31
December 2004 and for the 2004 result. As of year 2005, Vaisala has prepared its
Interim Reports applying the recognition and valuation principles of the
IFRS standards. Comparison data according to IFRS by quarter will be published
in connection with each Interim Report.
