What is the maximum flow rate the moisture in oil sensor can withstand?
Vaisala recommends a maximum linear flow rate of 1
meter/second. The flow limitation of the sensor is a result of the shear force
applied by high flow oil with significant viscosity. If great enough, this
force could cause the sensor contacts to bend or break resulting in sensor failure.
