Cleaning for use with 100% oxygen refers to the thorough cleaning and degreasing of all parts and surfaces that come into contact with oxygen rich gas mixtures. This is necessary to assure safe operation in oxygen rich environments. When oxygen concentrations exceed normal atmospheric levels, fire chemistry is altered and combustion hazards increase. OMT products that have been cleaned for use with oxygen should only be handled with clean cotton gloves to prevent contamination of the clean surfaces.
