What are the differences between the WS425A/B and WS425F/G?

The WS425 F/G model was developed for the National Weather Service and offers an advanced heating element designed for extremely cold weather conditions. It requires more power to heat and operate compared to the WS425 A/B model.  The WS425 F/G model has a wind speed measurement range up to 165 knots compared to 125 knots on the standard WS425 A/B model. The WS425 F/G also has a lower operating temperature range compared to the WS425 A/B. The WS425 F/G has only one output to a fiber optic modem, unlike the WS425 A/B which offers various output options. The WS425 A/B version is suitable for most typical meteorological and industrial applications.
