In which fluids can the moisture in oil sensor be used?

In the ten plus years since Vaisala first introduced moisture in oil transmitters, the instruments have shown excellent performance in nearly all transformer oils, lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids and other various hydrocarbons. However, since the sensor can behave differently based on the specific chemical composition of the fluid it is measuring in, we recommend that you contact Vaisala to confirm the compatibility with your application before installation.
