How can condensation be avoided when sampling from incubators?

Condensation can be avoided by drying the sample gas using Nafion® membrane tubing. Nafion®, a Dupont co-polymer, is highly selective in the removal of water.  The water moves through the membrane wall and evaporates into the surrounding air or gas in a process called perevaporation.  The CO2 content of the gas sample is not affected.

For a more detailed explanation please refer to the CO2 in Incubator FAQ document.
