Fuel cells

Water management is necessary in proton exchange membrane (PEM) type fuel cells to assure reliable and efficient operation of the cell. Humidity or dewpoint is measured in a gas stream containing a high percentage of hydrogen at temperatures close to 100°C and at positive pressure. Vaisala’s unique heated sensor is an ideal solution for fuel cell measurements.
