Greenhouses

In addition to sunlight, plants need carbon dioxide and water to grow. The productivity in a greenhouse can be increased with proper CO₂ fertilization. The optimal CO₂ concentration depends on plant type and light conditions. The trend in greenhouses is towards room-specific humidity and CO₂ sensors to increase response time and reliability of the control system. Vaisala manufactures instruments with excellent long-term stability and accuracy for humidity and CO₂ measurements.
