Breweries and fermentation

Breweries and wineries rely on fermentation in their production process. In fermentation processes, oxygen is vital for microbial metabolism and carbon dioxide a by-product of this metabolism. In some fermentation processes, measuring the O₂ and CO₂ concentrations from process exhaust air is essential to monitor the efficiency of the process. O₂ and CO₂ transmitters can be also used for safety monitoring and ventilation control in the fermentation facilities.
