    Vaisala HIS Advisory Radio & Portable Message Sign HAC100 is a system consisting of a changeable message sign and a portable Highway Advisory Radio (HAR). The message sign and HAR are combined on a single, solar-powered trailer. Vaisala HIS HAC100 provides text messages displayed on the changeable message sign, and audio messages broadcast in a two to five mile radius from a low-power AM radio. The portable system provides a quick solution for informing motorists of traffic conditions ahead, emergency information, or local events.

    Vaisala Advisory Radio & Portable Message Sign HAC100 utilizes solar power, which delivers dependable service around the clock and during extended periods of inclement weather. Messages can be changed quickly and remotely should conditions vary, and the station can be set-up and on the air in minutes for use during critical situations.
