Highway Advisory Radio

Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) systems, also known as Travelers’ Information Stations (TIS), broadcast messages to travelers or residents through the use of AM Radio. The radio stations are licensed to government agencies to provide the broadcasting of traffic and emergency messages to motorists in real-time.
