Vaisala Visibility Sensors PWD10, PWD20 and PWD20W

Most people do not think of visibility issues as a major problem in surface transportation, but that could not be further from the truth. Visibility posses another problem in that the reduced visibility is usually a very localized problem, so as we drive we are provided little warning of drastic changes in the visibility. The Vaisala Visibility Sensor PWD20 provides the local visibility measurement needed in problem areas so you can get the message out before there is a problem.

Visibility Sensor PWD20W for Wind Turbines:
Obstruction lights are used for marking the Wind Turbines for aviation safety. Some countries have established regulations for reducing the intensity of the obstruction lights basing on visibility. Wind Turbines can be equipped with Vaisala Visibility Sensor PWD20W, which is designed for this application. Several manufacturers have chosen Vaisala PWD20W due to its robustness and versatility.
