Ozone sounding with the Vaisala Radiosonde RS92

Ozone measurement is available for the 400 MHz digital Vaisala Radiosonde RS92-SGP. Two different ozone interface kits are available, RSA921 for ECC-type ozone sensors and RSA922 for Brewer-Mast type ozone sensor.

RS92 Add-on Interface

​The Vaisala DigiCORA® Sounding System with the Vaisala Radiosonde RS92 can be used to fly third party atmospheric in-situ research instruments and transfer the data for further analysis, together with the radiosonde information on height, wind, ambient temperature and humidity conditions.

Reference Radiosonde

I​n January 2009, Vaisala made a corporate commitment launching a program to develop an operational reference-grade radiosonde that could be used in GRUAN and other applications where enhanced radiosonde sensor performance is required.
