On Request Services

Vaisala On Request Services are designed to provide easy access to professional support over the life cycle of the equipment. Our experienced maintenance staff enables customers' successful operations by ensuring they make the most out of their investments with the least possible effort. These professionals are our way to ensure that all equipment, data and relationships are closely managed.

Each customer has unique needs. Thus, we have a modular offering structure where many of these On Request Services are sold individually, but are also bundled into our Service Contracts.

Vaisala offers a wide range of transactional On Request Services, including warranty, technical support, preventive maintenance, depot and on-site calibration, repair, spare parts and training services.  The availability of these services may vary from one region or product to another. Warranty

Warranty

All Vaisala products are covered by our standard warranty expiring 12 months after shipment from the Vaisala factory.
Vaisala also offers an extended warranty service for most products. An extended warranty extends the terms of our standard warranty for the duration of the service agreement.

Technical Support

Technical Support services provide easy access to professional support over the life cycle of the equipment whenever it is needed.
Vaisala HelpDesk is a single contact point that handles technical inquiries related to Vaisala's products and systems. Additionally for quicker solution suggestions, we recommend Priority Technical Support and Remote Monitoring services.


Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance

Both life cycle and product uptime can be improved with regular preventive maintenance, decreasing the need for unforeseen repairs and spare parts. Preventive maintenance service also alleviates the customer's need to invest in competent staff or equipment, and it ensures a continual supply of high quality data.
Vaisala provides Preventive Maintenance services either on site or at Vaisala's Regional Service Centers.


Service Center Calibration

Service Center Calibration

High precision instrument need to be calibrated on a regular basis to ensure continued optimal performance.
Vaisala provides a comprehensive range of standardized and customized calibrations services. Relative humidity, dewpoint, barometric pressure, carbon dioxide, and wind instruments calibration and repair services are globally available from Vaisala's Regional Service Centers.
Vaisala also provides accredited calibration services in compliance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.


On-Site Calibration

On-Site Calibration

Vaisala on-site calibration of humidity, differential pressure and temperature transmitters helps maximize reliability and profitability by minimizing costly equipment downtime and removing the need for in-house calibration.
Vaisala’s highly trained and experienced calibration engineers can also replace sensors, filters, fittings and housings with replacement components and perform a variety of minor repairs and even provide the latest upgrades.


Repair

High tech equipment is a long term investment and require repairs from time to time.
Vaisala offers repair services at Vaisala's Regional Service Center or at customer's site. The repair service includes fault tracing, repair or replacement of failed components, and a final testing to ensure functionality according to specifications.


Spare Parts

Spare Parts

A well managed spare parts inventory maximizes the uptime of products and observation systems while ensuring the output of reliable data throughout the life cycle of the equipment.
Vaisala offers a variety of spare parts and upgrades for observation systems with various response-time options. The range of spare parts and accessories for each product is typically listed in the product's technical documentation.
The Express Spare Part Delivery service ensures the availability and rapid shipment of selected spare parts for higher uptime requirements.

To gain the maximum operational benefit for the investment, customers need to keep their competencies up to date. To facilitate this, Vaisala offers a comperehensive range of training services during the life cycle of the system.
