Vaisala Veriteq Validation/Mapping System

Designed for the most demanding validation and mapping applications, the Vaisala Veriteq validation system is a powerful, easy-to-use alternative to thermocouple-based equipment and bulky data acquisition systems. A complete solution, our mapping tools eliminate costly downtime from pre- and post-calibration and deliver accurate, validatable results.

Our compact, rugged data loggers can be placed easily, minimizing interruptions to normal operations during mapping and validation exercises. You won’t need to do as many time-consuming pre- and post- calibrations because of our high-stability internal sensors.

    Vaisala Veriteq vLog VL

Windows-based software package for configuring, downloading, displaying, analyzing and reporting information from any Veriteq VL series data logger. Fully encrypted and validatable, vLog produces tabular and graphical reports that meet all requirements of 21 CFR Part 11.

    Validatable Data Loggers

All loggers are powered by a powerful 10-year battery and equipped with on-board memory and highly stable sensors. Compact, precise, stable, immune to power failures, customize your validation system by selecting from the following VL data loggers:

    Temperature  (various data loggers)

    > Accurate to 0.10°C (0.18°F);
    >Operating ranges:-90 to 85°C (-130 to 185°F) *using VLT (very low temperature)
    > Sample Capacity from 48,100 12-bit to 85,300 12-bit samples
    > Standard USB Connectivity

VL-1000-VLT for Very Low Temperatures (to -90° C)

    > Operating range from -90°C to 35°C. (-130°F to 95°F)
    > Accurate to +/- 1°C over -90°C to 0°C (+/- 1.8°F over -130°F to 32°F)
    > Sample Capacity is 26,900 12-bit samples

    Temperature & Humidity (VL 2000s)

    > Accurate to 1%RH
    > Sample Capacity is 35,100 12-bit samples
    > NIST-traceable and ICH calibration available

Our validation protocol is a comprehensive set of pre-written test guidelines and checklists for system validation, including installation and operational qualification. Comes as binder with CD. Documents provided in Microsoft Word format for easy customization (see sample).

Package includes customizable installation qualification (IQ) and operational qualification (OQ) procedures, forms and templates to enable validation personnel to record all details needed to demonstrate that the system is working properly.

See also a sample report from the validation protocol.

    What is a Validation Protocol?

Validation protocols are referenced in your validation master plan.
A validation master plan (VMP) is an outline of the entire validation project, including the timeline, responsibilities and approach. It can be focused on qualifying a new piece of equipment or environment, or validation a product or process. It will include any software /network validation.

A VMP is an internal document created to systemize the validation for your organization. The need for a VMP will be decided by the size, frequency and complexity of your validation projects.

By contrast, you will always need validation protocols. Vaisala’s Veriteq Validation Protocol is designed to verify the performance of the VL-1000, VL-1000-VLT, and VL-2000 temperature and relative humidity data loggers and to assist in validating the Vaisala Veriteq vLog software for use within your facility.
