Vaisala hydrological offering consists of measurement systems which provide real-time information about prevailing hydrometeorological conditions. Automatic hydrological stations measure various parameters such as precipitation and water level, and transmit the data in real-time to a central database. Weather radars measure precipitation remotely and they can also be used for short-term forecasting of precipitation. In addition, Vaisala can provide integrated solutions with centralized data collection, data management and related decision support systems.
