Vaisala worldwide

Vaisala Group is an international company with more than 1 000 persons around the world. Vaisala's personnel and distributor network serve customers in more than 100 countries. Efficient customer service requires knowledge of local circumstances and close contacts with customers. Operations outside Finland accounted for 96% of Vaisala's net sales in 2007.

At the end of 2007, Vaisala employed 694 people (61%) at its headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. They are engaged in research, product development, sales and marketing, customer service, production and administrative functions.

Vaisala has 24 offices around the world: Australia, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Sweden, the UK, and the United States as well as United Arab Emirates. The size of the international offices varies by country and business area. At the end of 2007, 440 (39%) of Vaisala's employees worked outside Finland.
